Other excellent language learning textbooks read before 2016.
I’m really into well-formatted language-learning textbooks and this is one. It’s not visually busy which blights many modern textbooks, it’s colour-coded sensibly so that pertinent information is accessible at a glance, and the exercises are helpfully reinforcing.
The format of a page a day is superb, not overwhelming. The words are well-chosen, usefully balanced between not too common and not too obscure, but the paragraphs that are supposed to introduce the words in context are so awkward and unnatural.
It’s excellent to have grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic phrases in context. Well-formatted and easy to breeze through.

Magnifiquement illustré et avec un peu d’humour. L’illustration de la lettre “T” dans l’alphabet n’est cependant pas très claire.
An excellent mix of reading, vocabulary, grammar notes, exercises, and suggested discussions and other oral activities for the classroom. It’s well-formatted as well which is unfortunately uncommon in language learning textbooks and goes a long way in making a textbook a pleasure to study.

Great intermediate textbook with reading, vocabulary, grammar notes, exercises, pictures.
Excellent balance of reading, vocab, grammar notes, exercises. I like a lot of reading and self-study and I got to a B1 level with this.
